Now granted, Enterprise has FAAAAR better fighter squadrons then Lexington could ever dream of having with a 3.5 km radius along with 10 fighters in a squadron instead of 5. It was the craziest thing I had ever seen in which for the first time ever I was introduced to CV Countering logic. Not only that but he was just actively using his fighter consumables to spot, control the center, and overall prevent me from being able to make attack runs on certain ships. The dude was constantly using Enterprise's amazing squadron patrol drops around the B cap in the center of the map, preventing me from being able to get in there and support my own DD with my fighter drops. The enemy CV you see, was the Enterprise (a ship I've been wanting for a looong time.) And this dude in his Enterprise, was just insanely awesome in that ship beyond what I've ever seen. I was in my Lexington with a div mate who was playing in a DD on the map Okinawa, granted I thought it was going to be some normal average game however I was wrong. As an avid CV player myself I've learned all the general tactics of playing a CV such as learning how to dodge flak, knowing which targets to strike, let alone how to accurately and maximize damage on my strikes, however it was only until recently that I found something else that goes into that concept you mentioned. It's interesting that you mention that though.

I do notice there’s much less you can do against the CV that as the CV in this example.
